Black Sesame Technologies Receives Autonomous Test License
Chinese startup Black Sesame Technologies has become the current 49th company to receive approval from the California DMV to test autonomous cars on public roads in California.
Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Shanghai with an office in San Jose, California, the company develops AI chips, algorithms for computer vision, machine vision such as camera array solutions for mobile devices, image perception system for ADAS, autonomous driving and sensor fusion algorithms.
Chinese electric car manufacturer NIO also holds shares in Black Sesame Technologies.
