Rivian Produces 9,395 and Delivers 7,946 Vehicles in Q1 2023

In its 6th quarter overall since starting production in 2021, California-based electric car maker Rivian has announced its Q1 2023 figures. It produced 9,395 vehicles and delivered 7,946. Compared to the same quarter in 2022, that’s a 268 percent increase in production and a 548 percent increase in deliveries. After producing 24,337 vehicles in the previous year – narrowly missing its own target of 25,000 vehicles – the company plans to produce 50,000 vehicles in the current year.

The press announcement only gave total figures, but no breakdown by individual vehicle model. The company plans to deliver 10,000 of the vans to Amazon this year.
