Tesla FSD Beta Request Available Tonight

Starting tonight, the option for the first Tesla customers to sign up for the Full Self Driving Beta will be available. So far, between 2,000 and 3,000 Tesla customers have been active in the so-called FSD Beta Program, which allowed them to install this not-yet-production-ready version of the autonomous driving technology software on their Teslas and test it for Tesla.

A week ago, Tesla CEO Elon Musk promised that with version 10.1, he would offer the FSD beta for download to all other customers with purchased FSD, but only after a multi-day review of their driving behavior and style. Tesla wants to make sure that especially safe drivers get access to the FSD Beta. As soon as I get the update, I will also request and test them. For the time being, this function is only available to customers in the USA.

Here is now what Elon Musk tweeted today:

FSD Beta request button goes live tonight, but FSD 10.1 needs another 24 hours of testing, so out tomorrow night
