Tesla Produces 439,701 Cars in Q4/2022 And Delivers 405,278
Record quarter and record year for Tesla, but still below its own expectations and those of analysts. Tesla delivered 405,278 vehicles for the fourth quarter of 2022 and produced 439,701, an increase of 44% of electric cars produced and 31% of electric cars delivered compared to the same quarter last year.
Tesla thus produced exactly 1,369,611 vehicles in 2022 and delivered 1,313,851 of them to customers. This is an increase of 47 percent in vehicles produced and 40 percent in vehicles delivered compared to 2021.

Tesla has thus delivered 3,648,578 vehicles since the company was founded.
For analysts, however, the result is below expectations, as Tesla itself had forecast an increase of 50% at the beginning of the year. On average, Tesla had presented annual growth rates of 60% since 2013.
In the first three quarters of 2022, Tesla has brought in a profit of 9.497 billion US dollars. With the available sales figures for Q4 2022, it can be expected that the annual profit will be between 13 and 15 billion US dollars.
