First Experiences With The Electric Rivian Delivery Vehicle
The American manufacturer of electric vehicles, Rivian, offers in its product range not only the R1T pickup and the R1S SUV, but also an electric delivery vehicle developed from scratch. The first customer of this is online retailer Amazon, which not only invested $700 million in Rivian, but also ordered 100,000 vehicles. Currently, about 1,000 of them are already in use at Amazon.
The American television station CNBC spoke with the drivers and developers of the electric delivery truck and what challenges the vehicle has to meet, both from the construction and setup, as well as from the software.
