Zoox Spotted With Viking Horns
Is Zoox going rogue, ransacking the territories of other Robotaxi companies by intimidating them with what looks like Viking horns? No, not at all.
Those “horns” seem to be a Campbell Scientific CS125 Present Weather and Visibility Sensor, a “weather station” with a sensor to gather rain drop characteristics and visibility. I saw this Zoox with a new contraption on the roof was spotted on April 16th, 2024 at around 11pm PST in San Francisco, and the tip and solution of what this is for came from a reddit-thread a few days prior to my sighting.
